Urhobo Democratic Assembly UDA led by her President, Olorogun Paul Ejakpomehwe Abu has expressed shock and sadness on the passing of Sir Papa Arthur Okorie Uzoma Okowa the beloved father of His Excellency, Sen Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, Executive Governor of Delta State and Hon Tim Owhefere, Majority Leader and member representing Isoko north in Delta State House of Assembly.
In the condolences message signed by the President and Secretary of the group, Olorogun Paul Ejakpomehwe Abu and Evang. Ejimitovwovwon Emmanuel respectively described the death of the two notable Nigerians as a monumental loss to the state, Ika and Isoko Nations in particular.
‘On behalf of the Leadership and Members of Urhobo Democratic Assembly, UDA commiserates with His Excellency,Sen Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, Executive Governor of Delta State, the entire Okowa family of Ika and Isoko respectively over the demise of their illustrious sons who has served the stateand nation in various capacity.
Sir Papa Arthur Okorie Uzoma Okowa was a retired teacher, he was a High Chief of Owa-Alero.
Pa Okowa lived a Godly, fulfilled and successful life worth of emulation.

Hon. Tim Owhefere was the Majority Leader and member representing Isoko north in Delta State House of Assembly.
He was an eloquent and brilliant lawmaker whose contributions in the House cannot be overemphasized.
